School Girl Crush.
David Bowie is incredible. He was born on January 8th 1947, full name David Robert Jones. He is an English musician, actor, producer, and arranger. I think he is most widely known for his work in the 1970’s. I dare say that all the Joneses’ out in the world should be proud to share the last name Jones with David, he is spectacular. David Bowie appears to have two different colored eyes but because of a fight in High School with his friend George Underwood (who later used his artistic skill to design the album covers of Bowie’s first few hits) over a girl, George punched David in the left eye. Doctors could not fully repair the harm, leaving his left pupil permanently dilated. Now he has faulty depth perception, both his iris’ are the same light blue but because the pupil of his left eye is wide open it appears to be brown; causing the eyes to look like they are two different colors. George and Bowie are still good friends. He’s been very successful throughout his life with his movies and music no matter the time period he had prospered, some examples of the genre of music he’s sung and played through the decades are:1947 to 1967: Early years1969 to 1973: Psychedelic folk to glam rock1974 to 1976: Soul, R&B, and The Thin White Duke 1976 to 1980: The Berlin era1980 to 1989: Bowie the superstar 1989 to 1991: Tin Machine1992 to 1999: Electronica1999 to present: Neoclassicist BowieHe’s also starred in a lot of movies, one of my personal favorites was The Labyrinth, a children’s and family based film. All the music involved in The Labyrinth is sung by David Bowie (except some echoes and chorus), as well as he has his ‘skunk’ hairdo and tight stretchy pants (ahaaaa). The follow and back up singer’s voices I think really leave an impact on the piece altogether, Bowie is amazing but without other voices to compare is awesomeness to he wouldn’t really sound that great, I think. But besides David looking and sounding astonishingly sexy in the film, it has a good plot and trippy scenes- it’ll blow your mind. My favorite character besides Bowie in the film would have to be Ludo, it’s an eight foot tall ‘big loveable lug’ according to Sarah, the main character. My favorite scene with Ludo is when it opens its mouth to call the rocks to help him, because these goblin creatures are beating him up with frog looking things (that have razor sharp teeth) on sticks! It’s hilarious! There’s also another character who is quite comical, Sir Didymus. Sir Didymus is approximately two feet tall and he is a schnauzer who thinks he is the bravest knight like one that would sit at King Arthurs round table, he proudly rides on Ambrosious; Ambrosious is Sir Didymus’ cowardly steed, it is actually a long haired sheep dog I believe. The plot of the story is that Sarah is trying to get back Toby (her little brother) who was kidnapped by Jareth (Bowie) and prove to him what is hers. I think that woman man haters club, Or a woman’s society against sexism or something probably wouldn’t like this film because of the role between Sarah and Bowie; Bowie throughout the film attempts to seduce Sarah and make her his queen, which just blows up in his face. But quite frankly, if I were in Sarah’s position I would have completely forgot about the ‘little’ brother and ran off with the tight panted Bowie; the alternate universe in which The Labyrinth is located is amazingly beautiful and tripilicious, the only place I would want to live more would probably be Wonderland.
Yes. I do have a ferocious crush on a man who is in his sixties, cause by god time hasn’t affected him much at all.
